Film and Hollywood fans in Los Angeles are spoilt for choice as to which of the major film studios they want to visit. For fans of Batman, Harry Potter, Friends and many other series, the choice will definitely fall on Warner Bros. Studios. Located in Burbank, just a stone’s throw from Universal Studios Hollywood, the Warner Bros. studio complex impresses with its many famous movie sets and decades of Hollywood history. And unlike Universal Studios, Warner Bros. is really all about the movies and you’re not visiting an amusement park here.

The grounds and attractions of Warner Bros. Studios

Already at the entrance to the studio premises, you are greeted by two personalities who are strongly connected with the history of Warner Bros: Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. In the 1930s, the world-famous Looney Tunes cartoons were made here in Burbank.

Fans of Batman and Harry Potter in particular will get their money’s worth on a tour of Warner Bros. Studios. Separate exhibition areas are dedicated to the numerous props and costumes from the two film series. An absolute eye-catcher are, of course, the legendary Batman movie vehicles, which can be marveled at in a separate hall.

Especially for series junkies, a visit to Warner Bros. Studios is an absolutely worthwhile experience. Globally successful series such as Friends, Gilmore Girls, The Big Bang Theory, The Mentalist and Two and a Half Men have been filmed on the studio lot. Depending on the ongoing filming, visitors can see the set of one or more series (which, of course, is not currently being filmed on). Fans of Friends, by the way, can expect a special treat on the Warner Bros. lot, and that is the preserved set of probably the most famous movie series café of all time: The Central Perk.

Tours of the Warner Bros. Studios

Warner Bros. Studios offers two different tours: The standard tour lasts two to three hours and the deluxe tour lasts about five to six hours. The tour itinerary varies depending on the current filming schedule. In contrast to the standard tour, on the deluxe tour you spend more time at the individual stations, make a stop at the Costume Department and also receive breakfast and lunch.
