Located on the southern shore of English Bay, Kitsilano Beach is one of Vancouver’s most popular city beaches. On the one hand, this is due to its very central location not far from Downtown Vancouver, False Creek and Granville Island. And on the other hand because of a superlative that Kitsilano Beach has to offer, namely Canada’s longest swimming pool. The Kitsilano Pool is a huge outdoor saltwater pool open from May to September.
