Fans of the Hulk, Spider-Man and the Avengers will have fun here. Because at IMG Worlds of Adventure, it’s all about comics and, of course, action and excitement. With an area of 140,000 square meters and a daily capacity of more than 20,000 visitors, the year-round park is the largest indoor theme park in the world (we are in Dubai, after all). After several postponements, IMG Worlds of Adventure opened its doors to visitors in mid-2016.

The construction costs are said to have totaled an incredible one billion dollars. But the result is something to be proud of. The theme park is housed in a steel, air-conditioned domed building and is part of the gigantic, not yet fully completed Urban Entertainment Center DubaiLand.

The zones of IMG Worlds of Adventure

The IMG Worlds of Adventure are divided into four themed zones, which together contain around 20 rides. Marvel is all about the famous characters from the Marvel Comics, such as Hulk, Spider-Man, Thor and the Avengers. The second themed zone is dedicated to Cartoon Network and offers lots of attractions based on characters from the Cartoon Network world. In Lost Valley – Dinosaur Adventure, dinosaur fans get their money’s worth with 70 life-size dinosaurs technically brought to life. And an ultra-fast roller coaster called Velociraptor awaits speed fans here, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The fourth zone is the so-called IMG Boulevard, which is located in the center of the complex and contains a haunted hotel as well as various restaurants and stores. In addition, there is a large cinema with twelve screens for movie fans in the IMG Worlds of Adventure.
