The history of the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces

At the International Exhibition in Brussels in 1910, a section on military history was also presented to the public with great success. Given the enthusiasm of the population, the authorities set up a military museum in the international context of the extreme tensions that led to World War I. In 1923, the museum was originally established on the grounds of La Cambre Abbey and moved to Parc du Cinquantenaire.
