Jericho Beach is one of the popular city beaches in Vancouver. The beach is located west of the Kitsilano neighborhood on the south shore of English Bay. Adjacent to the beach is Jericho Beach Park of the same name. The beach and park together are a popular recreation area among locals. It’s a great place to picnic, and there are a number of baseball, soccer, tennis and volleyball fields. Lifeguards also patrol the beach from late May to early September. However, it’s up to you to decide whether you want to venture into the water in the very cool temperatures of English Bay.
