Repulse Bay is located in the south of Hong Kong Island. The beach was created as early as 1910 and in 1920 the famous Repulse Bay Hotel was built (which no longer exists). To attract Hong Kong residents to the beach, a direct bus connection was created with the Central neighborhood. Since then, the beach has enjoyed great popularity among locals and tourists alike.
