Essentials about Spicy’s Gewürzmuseum in brief
An extraordinary museum, not only for amateur cooks and spice lovers. Located in an old warehouse in Hamburg’s Speicherstadt, Spicy’s Spice Museum offers visitors the opportunity to run through the entire spice processing chain from cultivation to the finished product on about 350 square meters. In addition, visitors can touch, smell and taste over 50 spices. The museum presents the effects and applications of spices and shows the countries from which the spices originate. Over 900 exhibits from the last five centuries give a good impression of how spices are cultivated, harvested, processed and transported.
