The Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Antica is one of the most important art collections in Italy. The Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Antica is housed in two different locations, Palazzo Barberini and Palazzo Corsini.

Palazzo Barberini and Palazzo Corsini

Palazzo Barberini is located just a short distance from the Quirinal Hill with the Quirinal Palace in the heart of the city. It was built in the mid-17th century for Pope Urban VIII, a member of the Barberini family, and is one of the most beautiful Baroque palaces in Rome. Palazzo Corsini is located in the Trastevere district on the right bank of the Tiber River. It is also a Baroque style palace built in the 18th century by the Corsini family.
