It is a cable car opened in 1974 that connects Mount Faber on the Singaporean mainland with the leisure and resort island of Sentosa. In addition to the two terminus stations on Mount Faber and Sentosa, there is also an intermediate stop at Singapore Harbour (HarbourFront Station).

The Mount Faber – Sentosa Cable Car

The total length of the Singapore Cable Car is about 1.7 kilometers. There is a support pillar between each of the three stations. On the approximately 15-minute ride from Mount Faber to Sentosa (and vice versa), you can enjoy a magnificent view of Singapore’s impressive city center, the city’s bustling harbor and the vibrant Sentosa Island from the cable car’s gondolas. Especially after dark, the view of the illuminated Singapore skyline is a very special experience.

The Sentosa Island Cable Car

In addition to the cable car line from Sentosa to Mount Faber, there is a second cable car line that runs over Sentosa Island itself since 2015. From the gondolas of the Sentosa Line, one has a great view of the countless attractions of Sentosa Island. From the three stops Merlion, Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Point, most of the island’s attractions can be reached within a few minutes.
