If you drive south along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive from Cape Town, you will see a beautiful sight after the last sharp bend, namely the six-kilometer-long, brilliant white sandy beach of Noordhoek Beach. It is one of the most untouched beaches on the Cape Peninsula and a paradise for surfers, beach walkers and beach riders. Various horse farms in the area of Noordhoek offer horseback riding on the beach. Even though the sea invites you to swim here, you should refrain from jumping into the waves due to the temperatures and especially because of the strong currents.
