Essentials about Zabeel Park in brief

Zabeel Park, which has existed since 2005, is one of the most popular recreational areas for Dubai residents. The nearly 48-hectare park is one of the largest and most beautiful in the city. Over 3,000 palm trees and 7,000 other trees of 14 species have been planted in the park. However, Zabeel Park offers its visitors not only shade, but an incredible range of possible activities.

Attractions in Zabeel Park

Walkers can make their rounds on the many paths in peace. For joggers, there is a dedicated 4.3-kilometer running track. A separate skate park has been built for skateboarders. Hungry people can barbecue or picnic in many areas, or go out to eat in one of the restaurants in the park. Water fans can take a spin on a boat in the park’s lake. And for children there is an adventure playground.

There is also an art gallery, a fitness center and several monuments in the park. Park visitors who like to learn more can do so in one of the park’s three “education zones,” which focus on alternative energy, communications, and modern technologies. On Fridays, there is a farmers’ market in the park, and on the first Saturday from October to May, there is a flea market.
